Whether you have chiropractic insurance or intend to pay for chiropractic services out-of-pocket, you must know about chiropractic fees before booking appointments. At REACH Rehab + Chiropractic in Plymouth, MI, many patients let their insurance cover chiropractic care. Still, it’s not always as simple as displaying your medical plan’s card before each appointment.
Here, you’ll learn about our fee structure and insurance coverage information.
Existing Chiropractic Patient Information
If you’re an existing patient, please use the available iPad to check in as soon as you arrive for your appointment. However, checking in on the iPad isn’t necessary if your appointment is simply a maintenance visit and not part of your treatment plan.
REACH Rehab + Chiropractic has different locations for their services, so always check your appointment’s location in advance. If you’re seeking chiropractic, massage, or Rolfing services, you should be at our Plymouth location and enter through the Burrough entrance, not Main Street.
Pilates is at our Westland facility. Enter through the side door.
Insurance Information for Chiropractic
Learning about insurance coverage as a whole is often complicated. An unfortunate aspect of having chiropractic insurance is that the coverage doesn’t always accommodate the services you need for optimal health and wellness. Insurance companies are more likely to cover pain management medication than to reimburse patients for manual therapy.
At REACH Rehab + Chiropractic, we accept insurance from most major carriers as well as plans with out-of-network coverage. Our in-network insurance providers include:
- Blue Cross Blue Shield
- Aetna
- Cofinity
- Personal Injury (PI) Claims
- Worker’s Comp
- Meritain Health
- Out-of-network plans
- Other subsidiaries of the above networks
- HAP (Cigna)
- Blue Care Network
- Priority Health
- Medicare/Medicaid and Medicare supplemental plans
Out-of-network policies may offer basic chiropractic adjustments but not our other physical therapy services.
Does My Health Insurance Cover Chiropractic?
When you schedule an appointment with us as a new patient, our team will perform a complimentary benefits check to help you determine your payment options.
You should contact your insurance provider before booking an appointment to ensure your coverage. Here are the codes we use:
- Chiropractic Treatments: 98940, 98941, 98942
- Therapies: 97112, 97110, 97140
- Exams: 99203, 99202, 99212, 99213
Depending on deductibles and out-of-pocket costs with certain policies, you might want to use our all-services-included private-pay rate. New patient appointments are $140, follow-ups are $70, and existing patients with new injuries are $100. Discounted Medicare/Medicaid/documented hardship rates are $100, $50, and $70, respectively.
Health Savings Accounts and Flexible Spending Accounts are acceptable under our private-pay rate. Legally, we can’t offer discounts or waive rendered therapies when billing insurance.
Chiropractic Cancelation Fee Policy
It’s important to follow your treatment plan to ensure the ideal outcome, but we understand that appointment cancelations are sometimes necessary. If you must cancel an appointment, do so by visiting your Account page on our website.
We ask that patients be respectful of everyone’s time. If you must cancel your appointment, please provide 24 hours notice. Canceling late more than once and missing appointments without notice will incur a fee of service at full price. Frequently violating our cancelation policy could result in your termination of services at your provider’s discretion.
