It’s still summer but there are only four months until it snows.

I’m sorry to bring this reality to light, but context helps to put things in perspective. Summer will be gone before you know it, so how are you planning to make the best of the few good months that we have left?

Summer Slow down

Slow down? There’s no time to slow down! We need to pack in every pool party and lake trip possible!

Who cares about obligations, deadlines, appointments, meetings, work, housework, sports, yard work, back pain, and anything else — there are only four months until it snows! And to be frank, there are only two months of blazing summertime fun left.

Reality is, more often than not, it seems there aren’t enough hours in the day or days in the week for all that needs to be done, much less the things we want to do.

Living in the grind.

Can you feel it? The constant push to get things done.

You’ve made choices because you didn’t plan. Then the guilt about making bad choices because you didn’t think it through.

Our world is noisy. There’s a lot to think about and even more to do

All this chaos is hard on our bodies. Work. Home. Back pain. Political movements. There’s always something that needs our attention — NOW.

We might live for the summer, but the constant press forward will leave some of us chasing sleep like a kitten playing with a shadow. As a result, you may get snippy with your loved ones or co-workers. Maybe your back will hurt more. Maybe you will live to experience life with less joy, believing, “getting old is a ______.”

This destroys our ability to enjoy the summer.

Stress accumulates. Joints get stiff. Cranky shoulders get crabbier. Headaches rear their ugly heads. They rob us of perfect moments during our precious summer months.

Massage is the mini-vacation you probably need…

..Without the sand in your shoes and having to pull your computer out of your backpack.

Massage therapy is a reboot. It’s the control-alt-delete for your body and mind.

A massage resets your thoughts, slows your pulse, regulates your breathing, and recharges your mind.

Massages can prevent minor muscle soreness from becoming injuries and pain.

It’s a lot cheaper than a full vacation. It has real, profound medical benefits while feeling indulgent.

Take a moment to slow down. Both your mind and body will thank you.

Four months till snow…

Don’t lose a single moment this summer. Allow regular massages to be the refuge from all the chaos and noise. Give yourself permission to disconnect and recharge. Click here to schedule your mini vacation.
