REACH in Royal Oak

Dr. Sheridan Kent sees patients in Royal Oak on Wednesdays, 9am to 1pm, at Home Turf Gym on East 4th Street.

Same care she provides in Plymouth — the assessment, the hands-on work, the rehab — closer to home if Royal Oak is where you are.

How we treat it

Techniques and services we use

We employ a variety of evidence-based chiropractic and rehabilitation techniques at REACH Rehab + Chiropractic, and a wide range of related services.

Care Available in Royal Oak

Everything we do as chiropractors: manual therapy, McKenzie, ART, DNS, and rehab. Assessment, hands-on treatment, and a plan you take home.

Two exceptions. Shockwave therapy and Cox flexion-distraction need equipment that stays in Plymouth.

If either is part of your plan, that’s not a referral or a complication — you book the Plymouth location instead, and it’s still Dr. Kent seeing you.

Rehab + Chiropractic in a Gym Setting

Our Plymouth rehab room has what we need. Home Turf is a full gym, which means more options for loading something up, testing it under real weight, or working through a movement with equipment we don’t keep in Plymouth.

If you train, that’s useful. If you don’t, it doesn’t change anything — most of what she does needs her hands, a table, and room to move.

Our clinic is at 412 E 4th St, Royal Oak, MI 48067, inside Home Turf Gym. We also see patients from nearby Berkley, Ferndale, Clawson, Huntington Woods, and Birmingham. If our Plymouth location is closer or fits your schedule better, that’s REACH too.

Frequently Asked Questions

When is Dr. Kent in Royal Oak?

Dr. Kent is in Royal Oak on Wednesdays from 9am to 1pm. That’s currently our only day in Royal Oak. The rest of the week, we’re in Plymouth.

Booking online will show you what’s actually available. Scheduling and questions are handled by our Plymouth front desk either way, so it’s the same people on the phone.

Do I need to be a Home Turf member?

No. Our treatment room happens to be inside Home Turf Gym, but you don’t need a gym membership and you’re not joining anything to be seen.

Dr. Kent does treat some Home Turf members, but the Royal Oak location is open to everyone.

Where do I go when I get there?

Dr. Kent’s treatment room is toward the back of the gym. Look for the REACH sign and her name on the door. If you’re not sure where to go, anyone on the Home Turf staff can point you in the right direction.

Dr. Kent will meet you there and check you in herself. There’s no separate REACH front desk or waiting room at this location.

Where do I park?

There’s free street parking on the surrounding side streets and paid parking on 4th Street.

It’s downtown Royal Oak, so give yourself a few extra minutes to park before your appointment.

Is there anything you can't do at the Royal Oak location?

Yes. Shockwave therapy and Cox flexion-distraction are only available in Plymouth because both require equipment that stays at our main clinic.

Most of what Dr. Kent does can happen in Royal Oak, including assessment, hands-on treatment, and rehab. She’ll still choose what makes sense based on what she finds rather than having you book a specific technique.

If shockwave or Cox becomes appropriate for your care, you can book at our Plymouth location and still see Dr. Kent.

Do you see kids and pregnant patients in Royal Oak?

Yes. Pregnancy, postpartum, and pediatric care are a specific focus of Dr. Kent’s practice at both locations.

She’s Webster Technique certified and has completed 140 hours of postgraduate training in pregnancy and pediatric care.
